It is reported that kids are reading more on computers, e-readers and tablets than in print for the first time and the number has doubled over the last 2 years.

40% of kids in the UK now claim to read e-readers and tablets on a daily basis compared to only 28% read print.

Is this a good thing though?  It is claimed that only 15% of screen readers are above average ability in reading, while the figure is a lot higher at 26% for those that read both.
